Don't believe Sailer's lies that the Bush and the Republicans' policies form an affordable family foundation plan to help middle class America raise families. Ever since Bush took office and the republicans gained power in Congress, they have been relentless in their quest to screw the middle class with higher housing, education, and health care costs for the benefit of the millionaires in America.
Housing - Bush appointed Ben Bernanke
to replace Federal Reserve Chairman Alan Greenspan on February 1, 2006. In five short months, Bernanke has raises interest rates of the U.S. central bank for the 17th consecutive time. This has caused mortgage rates to skyrocket, eliminate the dreams of home ownership for many middle class Americans, and force homeowners to foreclose their current homes.
Education - On July 1, 2006, student loan interest rates
increased according to the policies Bush and the Republicans passed. "The increase, which will climb from 5.3 percent to 7.14 percent, will cost students about $2,222 to $2,674 more in basic student loans, also known as Stafford loans."
Health Care - Feb 2, 2006
: "The U.S. House Republican leaders, backed by the Bush administration, muscled through a package of nearly $40 billion in spending cuts that will slash programs vital to working families, especially low-income Americans and those trying to pay for college." Cuts on health care include "slashing $25 billion over 10 years from their health care coverage while taking nothing away from HMOs and the pharmaceutical industry."
And speaking of Republican family values, how does molesting children build strong families? Liberal Avenger
has the story on GOP political consultant Carey Lee Cramer. The Republican Family Foundation Plan in a nutshell.
