Bush and the Republicans' health care plan doesn't cover your private parts

Bush, the republicans, and the religious right are making sure you do not receive the proper health care because certain body parts are too taboo to discuss within their right-wing religious sect.

First, Bush for the first time in over 5 years exercises his presidential power to veto stem cell research which can help cure degenerative diseases such as Parkinson's, Alzheimer's or diabetes. The reason for his veto: the stem cells may come from the dreaded human embryo.

Next, a new vaccine that protects against cervical cancer is being opposed by the religious right, among the most unnotable Tony Perkins and the Family Research Council (a clone of the Christian Coalition) leading the crusade against this vaccine because it covers the female sexual organs.

What's next, banning all breast cancer research?

1 Comments:

  • The religious right is just so misogynistic that they would ban anything that has to do with the health of women of America.

They're nuts, for a better word.
