One of world's most notorious spammers arrested - Robert Alan Soloway

Steve Sailer and his right-wing demagogues have produced an uncanny and loyal audience of estranged and heinous criminals. Their audience are overwhelmingly right-wing males, often bitter, depressed, eccentric, lying hypocrites. They tend to be estranged white males and engrossed with computers, since the internet is their primary source to absorb or transmit the hate media of the right.

What kind of heinous criminals have the right-wingers provided? Pedophiles, major con-artists, serial killers, and suicidal murders. Yet another heinous criminal fits the profile of Steve Sailer and the right-wingers - the notorious spammer.

Thanks, Steve Sailer. In addition to racists, pedophiles, con-artists, serial killers, and suicidal murders, now we have to deal with spammers. Guys, get off the computer and get some fresh air.

With the savvy computer skills this weirdo posseses, the spammer overwhelms us all with endless amounts of spam to make money off your misery. With nearly unlimited internet media access, he also has plenty of opportunities to satisfy his appetite for child and bestial pornography.

At least one of these computer criminals is going back home to prison. His name is Robert Alan Soloway, 27, believed to be one of the world's top ten spammers. Sure there will be other spammers to take his place, but inevitably they will be heading home to prison.

Man described as 1 of world’s top 10 spammers arrested

SEATTLE - A 27-year-old man described as one of the world’s most prolific spammers was arrested Wednesday, and federal authorities said computer users across the Web could notice a decrease in the amount of junk e-mail.

Robert Alan Soloway is accused of using networks of compromised "zombie" computers to send out millions upon millions of spam e-mails.

"He’s one of the top 10 spammers in the world," said Tim Cranton, a Microsoft Corp. lawyer who is senior director of the company’s Worldwide Internet Safety Programs. "He’s a huge problem for our customers. This is a very good day."

A federal grand jury last week returned a 35-count indictment against Soloway charging him with mail fraud, wire fraud, e-mail fraud, aggravated identity theft and money laundering.

Soloway pleaded not guilty Wednesday afternoon to all charges after a judge determined that - even with four bank accounts seized by the government - he was sufficiently well off to pay for his own lawyer.

He has been living in a ritzy apartment and drives an expensive Mercedes convertible, said prosecutor Kathryn Warma. Prosecutors are seeking to have him forfeit $773,000 they say he made from his business, Newport Internet Marketing Corp.

The right wings' lies in religion

It would seem like Jesus Christ was a very liberal Democrat, not an elitist, racist Republican. He supposedly taught principles like humility, moderation, giving to the poor, and accepting people who are different from you.

So how does the right-wing distort the message of Christianity to advance their anti-Christian, hateful, elitist agenda? By the most powerful weapon of lies: the media.

Media Matters: LEFT BEHIND: The Skewed Representation of Religion in Major News Media

In order to begin to assess how the news media paint the picture of religion in America today, this study measured the extent to which religious leaders, both conservative and progressive, are quoted, mentioned, and interviewed in the news media.

Among the study's key findings:

  • Combining newspapers and television, conservative religious leaders were quoted, mentioned, or interviewed in news stories 2.8 times as often as were progressive religious leaders.
  • On television news -- the three major television networks, the three major cable new channels, and PBS -- conservative religious leaders were quoted, mentioned, or interviewed almost 3.8 times as often as progressive leaders.
  • In major newspapers, conservative religious leaders were quoted, mentioned, or interviewed 2.7 times as often as progressive leaders.

Despite the fact most religious Americans are moderate or progressive, in the news media it is overwhelmingly conservative leaders who are presented as the voice of religion. This represents a particularly meaningful distortion since progressive religious leaders tend to focus on different issues and offer an entirely different perspective than their conservative counterparts.

U.S. suffers 10 casualties in Iraq on Memorial Day

You can thank Bush, the Republicans, and the voters for keeping Memorial Day alive by sacrificing plenty more casualties for an unstrategic, unpopular, and unnecessary war in Iraq. The casualties mount as 10 more U.S. soldiers die in Iraq, making May 2007 one of the highest monthly casualties.

Alex Linder of Vanguard News Network arrested

This is your inevitable fate if you follow the right-wing racists. In the latest news, Alex Linder of Vanguard News Network is arrested in Knoxville, TN, while participating in a white supremacist rally.

VNN is an antisemitic, white supremacist website launched in 2000, and one of the most active white supremacist sites on the Internet. Alex Linder is the owner and operator of VNN.

One Peoples Project: Alex Linder arrested

KNOXVILLE, TN - Alex Linder of Vanguard News Network participated in a rally organized on his website's forum to protest black crime. Now it is he being called a criminal.

According to the Knoxville News Sentinel, Linder was arrested 3 PM Saturday at the start of the protest when he refused to comply with police instructions. He was charged with disorderly conduct, resisting arrest, assault on a police officer and destruction of property. According to initial reports he was thrown to the ground and cuffed before being able to speak. Reportedly, the destruction of property charge comes from the lens of a camera around the neck of an officer arresting him being broken.

Linder, who once worked at CNN as a researcher for the Evans and Novak program as well as for the conservative magazine American Spectator, joined less than 30 of his fellow boneheads at the old Knox County Courthouse on Main Street to protest what he considered the media ignoring the brutal January 6 deaths of University of Tennessee students of Channon Christian and Christopher Newsom, allegedly at the hands of five African Americans.

Moore reviews of Sicko

Crooks and Liars has video coverage of Michael Moore himself on his upcoming movie examining America's troubled health care system, Sicko. The reviews so far have been great, but how do you know this will be a great movie?

FOX News, which has always been a strong opponent of Michael Moore, has given Sicko positive reviews. Even in the video interview, Republicans have thanked and congratulated Michael Moore for investigating the health care industry.

Michael Moore's Sicko and the health care crisis

Michael Moore, the conservatives' hated film maker who brought you Fahrenheit 911, is coming out with a new movie exposing the obscene health care crisis in America. It covers the countless millions of Americans who are uninsured or under insured with health care, and the extraordinarily high health care costs for substandard service. The movie is called Sicko and the release date is June 29, 2007.

Having affordable health care and empowering the overwhelming majority of America is the Republicans' worst nightmare, as they are the primary beneficiaries of the large HMOs and pharmaceutical drug companies. The health companies use the republicans to keep your health care bills inflated so the companies reap record profits and the Republicans keep a powerful financial stranglehold on the average American.

Even the suicidal conservatives are feeling the pain of the health care crisis they generated. Here's a funny story of Jim Kenefick, the webmaster of the anti-Moore website . His wife got very sick and Jim Kenefick wrote about the difficulty he was having paying his wife's medical bills. Like Steve Sailer, Jim Kenefick was stuck in a moral and financial dead-end rut with a barely responsive right-wing audience who are the least likely to be charitable toward the needy.

Suddenly an anonymous check for $12,000 appeared. Jim got very suspicious but cashed it anyway. Who else was it from other than his arch enemy, Michael Moore. And the greatest surprise (although not really if that person is your typical lying, hypocritical, depressed, suicidal hatemonger like Jim or Steve) is that Jim Kenefick attacked Michael Moore for his hospitality when Jim's fellow conservatives created his health care crisis and would not help him out from the mess they created.

Having suspected Moore might be his secret patron, he contends that his bete noir made the gift just to publicize "Sicko," which takes aim at America's health-care system and, we've heard, touches upon Moore's covert generosity.

"I knew he was using me," said Kenefick. "Moore is going to try to make me into one of his little puppets."

Kenefick wants it known that "I'm not an idiot. I know when to say yes to something, even if the string attached is obvious. What kind of moron turns down a free 12 grand?"

No wonder the right-wingers are stuck in depressed, dead-end situations and declining in numbers and power.

Ted Klaudt: GOP lawmaker arrested for child rape, molesting of pages

Just another typical day for these demented, sexually repressed Republicans. Mark Foley, Ted Haggard, Randall Tobias. Now former South Dakota State Representative Ted Klaudt takes his turn by being arrested for eight counts of rape, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of witness tampering, sexual contact with a person under 16, and stalking.

DailyKos reports:
Klaudt had to exit the state legislature in 2006 due to term limits, after having a lost a battle for state senate in that same year--but he sure had a doozie of a time while he was there. I learned of this particular piece of distasteful debauchery from Howie Klein's fantastic post on the subject at his blog Down With Tyranny. As Klein says:

Like so many tightly wound repressed and mentally ill Republicans, Klaudt was preaching the moral superiority of the far right while he was abusing molesting children-- his own foster daughters and 2 state legislative pages! He "faces a long list of charges: eight counts of rape, two counts of sexual exploitation of a minor, two counts of witness tampering, sexual contact with a person under 16, and stalking."

Kindergarten lesson: Don't mess with strangers

It's incredible how the right-wingers can't follow the simplest lessons they were supposedly taught in kindergarten. Lessons like not lying, cheating, and stealing are taught so young, yet as you grow older, these basic principles become harder to follow, especially for right-wingers.

So what about the lesson of not messing with strangers? This for some reason is the most difficult lesson they have trouble following. Sure you can harass, slander, and taunt strangers, and sometimes they'll just ignore you. But it's getting very dangerous out there, with millions of crazy, perverted, suicidal, hateful strangers out there. They can be armed with guns, knives, poison, or more. They have access to weapon making materials. They may have high political or legal power that will come back to get you.

Of course, just like lying, cheating, and stealing, we don't realistically expect the Sailer-type right-wingers to learn their lesson the easy way, and all to often they learn the hard way with attacks, depression, lost careers, drug abuse, crime, and suicide.

Here's the official strangers guide for children which the right-wingers need to learn. Oh yeah, they had messed-up childhoods filled with rejection, failure, sexual abuse, anger, and depression, so these kindergarten lessons never sunk in. But here it is anyway, learn from it to save your life, or die one way or another following the dead-end path of the right-wingers.

Bush administration opposes pay hike for his soldiers

I'll say it once, twice, and forever until it sinks in. When you follow the Republicans or right-wingers, you have no friends, allies, or support. In the latest news, President Bush who placed his troops in the most hostile situations is opposing a pay increase for his own soldiers.

White House: 3.5 percent pay hike unnecessary
Troops don’t need bigger pay raises, White House budget officials said Wednesday in a statement of administration policy laying out objections to the House version of the 2008 defense authorization bill.

The Bush administration had asked for a 3 percent military raise for Jan. 1, 2008, enough to match last year’s average pay increase in the private sector. The House Armed Services Committee recommends a 3.5 percent pay increase for 2008, and increases in 2009 through 2012 that also are 0.5 percentage point greater than private-sector pay raises.

The slightly bigger military raises are intended to reduce the gap between military and civilian pay that stands at about 3.9 percent today. Under the bill, HR 1585, the pay gap would be reduced to 1.4 percent after the Jan. 1, 2012, pay increase.

Bush budget officials said the administration “strongly opposes” both the 3.5 percent raise for 2008 and the follow-on increases, calling extra pay increases “unnecessary.”

U.S. minority population tops 100 million

Steve Sailer and his crowd of white nationalists keep losing out. So will you suffer their same fate of depression and suicide if you follow their dying crowd. Hey, Steve Sailer and company, why don't you guys try something new like:

  • Stop molesting, abusing, and murdering your children and properly raise them instead.
  • Stop following your depressing and hateful ideologies that lead to lost careers, depression, drug and alcohol abuse, felonies, and suicide.
  • Stop screwing the bottom 98 percent of the economic ladder with inordinately high education, health, and energy prices in favor of large corporations and multi-millionaires.
  • Stop listening to the addictive, hateful media hatemongers like Rush Limbaugh and Bill O'Reilly. Get some exercise, meet a new and an ever diversifying population, and advance in life.

U.S. minority population tops 100 million
Hispanics largest and fastest-growing ethnic group, Census Bureau reports
ATLANTA - The number of people in the United States from ethnic or racial minorities has risen to more than 100 million, or around one third of the population, according to a U.S. Census Bureau report released Thursday.

The minorities figure stood at 100.7 million, up from 98.3 million a year earlier. Within that, the Hispanic population was the fastest growing at a rate of 3.4 percent between July 2005 and July 2006.

Hispanics were also the largest minority group, accounting for 44.3 million people on July 1, 2006, or 14.8 percent of the overall U.S. population which, according to census data released in October 2006, stood at more than 300 million.

The black population grew 1.3 percent, to 40.2 million, from July 2005 to 2006, the census said, while the number of native Hawaiians and members of other Pacific islander groups reached 1 million.

Asians were the second fastest-growing minority group at a rate of 3.2 percent, with their numbers standing at 14.9 million.

The population of non-Hispanic whites who indicated no other race grew 0.3 percent during the one-year period.

New York state had the largest black population with 3.5 million people, followed by Florida at 3 million and Texas at 2.9 million. The median age of African Americans was 30.1 years, lower than the 36.4 for the whole population.

Four states and the District of Columbia now have more minorities than members of the majority white population.

Hawaii has a population that was 75 percent minority in 2006. The District of Columbia stood at 68 percent, with New Mexico at 57 percent, California at 57 percent and Texas at 52.

More losses for right-wing hate radio stars

When you are employed in the right-wing hate industry, you have nothing better to do than to count your losses and guess when it's your turn to lose it all. This time it is in radio broadcasting where right-wing hatemongers dominate.

CBS radio fired Don Imus for his racist attacks on the Rutger's women's basketball team. Now Don will have company to console his losses, as CBS radio has now dropped shock jocks Jeff Vandergrift and Dan Lay and their show, "The Dog House with JV and Elvis" for a prank phone call rife with offensive Asian stereotypes

Also in the news, XM radio has suspended Opie and Anthony for 30 days. These shock jocks made vulgar, sexist attacks against Condoleezza Rice, Laura Bush and Queen Elizabeth. They have a history of losses, as CBS Radio fired them in 2002 after broadcasting a call from two listeners who said they were having sex in New York's St. Patrick's Cathedral.

What's next for these shock jocks that afflicts their kind? Depression. Alcholism. Drug abuse. Child pornography and molestation. More lost jobs. Arrests. Suicide.

Jerry Falwell is dead at age 73

Jerry Falwell the preacher is dead at age 73. Born in 1933, Jerry for decades has lead the Religious Right and Moral Majority. Primarily by scamming the elderly and appealing to hateful, eccentric white males, Jerry became a millionaire many times over and an infamous force in right-wing theocratic politics. Some of the values he endorsed.

  • Hating and discriminating against women.
  • Hating and discriminating against non-whites.
  • Hating and discriminating against homosexuals.
  • Hating and discriminating against Democrats.
  • Hating and discriminating against non-Christians, including hating Christians who are not part of his denomination.
  • Pushing politics to the far right.
  • Carrying out his agenda of right-wing theocratic fascism.
  • Scamming countless elderly people into giving their life savings to his ministry.
  • Using religion as a brainwashing weapon to manipulate women, children, and the elderly to carry out his agenda of hatred and right-wing fascism.
  • Using lies and racist demagoguery to recruit legions of depressed, hateful, and eccentric white males, primarily neo-confederates from the south, to further inflict damage.

Jerry Falwell, your time has come to meet your true creator - the devil in hell.

The face of red states: Murder-Suicide

While I was doing a Google search of the term "murder suicide", here is a typical day in America (May 14, 2007) which consistently afflicts red states more.

Grover Beach man dead after attempted murder-suicide (Grover Beach, California)

Police investigating apparent attempted murder-suicide (Cedar Grove, Texas)

Police: Chandler deaths are murder-suicide (Chandler, Arizona)

Murder-Suicide Victims' Names Released (Clarksburg, West Virginia)

4 dead after murder suicide (Dermott, Arkansas)

Murder-suicide in Painesville (Painesville, Ohio)

Burke County deaths believed to be murder-suicide (Bowbells, North Dakota)

Double Murder-Suicide (Bluffton, South Carolina)

Idaho Shootings Leave 3 Dead, 1 Hurt in Apparent Murder-Suicide (Calder, Idaho)

Does this surprise you to see so many red states afflicted with murder-suicides?

You have to hand it to the Republican Party ...

An article by Marie Cocco on the Republican Party in the 21st century.

You have to hand it to the Republican Party ...
It’s made history again.

When its field of presidential candidates strode onto the stage at the Ronald Reagan Presidential Library for their first debate, the Republicans became the first contemporary political party to feature only candidates who represent a minority of America.

Who knew?

The dark business suits, the preponderance of made-for-TV red ties and the surfeit of balding pates shimmering under the lights spoke louder than the candidates themselves. The all-white, all-male lineup was a perfect picture of patriarchy for Republicans, who often take pride in calling themselves ‘‘the Daddy party’’ — the better to cast Democrats as that soft-and-girlie ‘‘Mommy party.’’

What can you say about a party that thinks these years of locker-room machismo in the White House should be followed by four more? You can say that its presidential candidates represent a distinct and diminishing minority. According to the 2000 Census, white men made up 37 percent of the population. Heck, men aren’t even a majority among white people — women are.

For all the attention paid to the groundbreaking Democratic presidential field that includes a woman, a black and a Hispanic, isn’t the retro look of the Republican candidates as significant a statement?

The Republican Party just can’t get over it. The 20th century, that is.

It can’t seem to grasp the civil rights movement, the women’s movement, the gay rights movement, the global wave of immigration that has brought millions of Hispanics, Asians and other people of color to the United States. They’re all chasing the American dream that the Republicans embrace, at least when it is dreamed by people who look like them.

Remember macaca? The young, Indian-American volunteer for the Jim Webb campaign who was famously ridiculed by George Allen at a campaign event during the U.S. Senate race in Virginia last fall was singled out not just for his dark skin color, but for his supposed newcomer status. ‘‘Welcome to America and the real world of Virginia,’’ taunted Allen, an incumbent who was supposed to breeze to re-election — and contend for the 2008 Republican presidential nomination.

The Webb aide, S.R. Sidarth, was in fact born and raised in Northern Virginia and was an honor student at the University of Virginia. Voters didn’t see him as an unwanted interloper; they saw him as a neighbor. And they elected Democrat Webb to the Senate, in one of the pivotal races that led to the turnover of power on Capitol Hill.

Virginia is one of seven states in which increased turnout among black voters played a role in Democratic victories last fall, according to an election analysis by David Bositis of the Joint Center for Political and Economic Studies, which studies trends in black voting and political attitudes. The list reads like a road map through potential presidential-election swing states: Florida, Michigan, Missouri, Ohio, Pennsylvania and Tennessee are among them.

Coupled with the influx of Hispanics and other nonwhites, demographic changes already have put big states such as California and New York effectively out of reach for Republican presidential candidates. With Hispanics alone projected to comprise almost a quarter of the population by 2030, how does the hostility toward immigrants among many core Republican supporters — the very base voters its candidates must woo to win the nomination — lead to victory?

‘‘We’re coming to a tipping point and it’s a tipping point that’s unfavorable to Republicans,’’ Bositis says.

Bill Clinton pledged to build a ‘‘bridge to the 21st Century,’’ a slogan so trite as to invite ridicule. Now Republicans offer a scarier path. Theirs is a road back to the 19th.

Rush Limbaugh faces the audience of the real world

No personnal comment here, but with the lies, bigotry, taunts, slander, stupidity, and insanity Rush Limbaugh has relentlessly spewed out for countless years, don't be surprised when you face the real world.

Rush Limbaugh billboard near I-83 defaced
Apparently, somebody in Baltimore isn't a fan of Rush Limbaugh.

A large billboard advertising local air times for the conservative radio talk-show host has been defaced.

Robert Murrow, a spokesman for the city's Department of Public Works, saw the vandalism as he drove to work this morning on I-83 near the Guilford Avenue exit. He called The Sun, saying that someone had poured paint on the image of Limbaugh's face.

Limbaugh, who is nationally syndicated, can be heard on WCBM 680 AM from noon to 3 p.m.

"It looks like they took globs of paint and threw it on his face. It looks great. It did my heart good," said Murrow, who admittedly is not a Limbaugh fan.

Senate Kills Import Drug Plan

It's bad enough that the Republicans are not going to do anything to alleviate high gas prices because they are the primary benefactors of big oil company contributions. Now they sink to new lows by keeping pharmaceutical drug prices high because they are the primary benefactors of large pharmaceutical and health care companies. Even worse, your pharmacy bill will further increase because of the hatred, insanity, and stupidity of Sailer's right-wing xenophobic ideals.

Health care is out of control, so to help alleviate drug prices, a bill was introduced to allow American consumers to purchase drugs form other countries at cheaper prices. The Senate, primarily Republicans, killed that proposal in favor of inflated drug prices and higher profits for drug companies.

Hat Tip: Crooks and Liars

Imported drugs plan fails - The Senate defeats an effort that would have allowed Americans to purchase prescription drugs from abroad.
WASHINGTON - In a triumph for the pharmaceutical industry, the Senate on Monday killed a drive to allow consumers to buy prescription drugs from abroad at a significant savings over domestic prices.

On a 49-40 vote, the Senate required the Food and Drug Administration to certify the safety and effectiveness of imported drugs before they can be imported, a requirement that officials have said they cannot meet.

"Well, once again the big drug companies have proved that they are the most powerful and best financed lobby in Washington," said Sen. David Vitter, R-La.

The vote neutralized a second amendment, later passed on a voice vote, that would legalize the importation of prescription drugs manufactured in Canada, Australia, Europe, Japan and New Zealand.

The drug import measure - which was tacked onto legislation for the overhaul of the FDA - could have saved consumers billions of dollars, its sponsors said.

Washington Sens. Maria Cantwell and Patty Murray were among the 15 Democrats to vote in favor of the drug certification measure. (Which means 34 Republicans also voted to ban drug importation.)

Too bad Rush Limbaugh won't get a break for his drug addiction and Sailer won't be able to afford his Rituxan drug if his cancer returns. But the real issue is that the rest of America who have reasons to live will be adversely affected.

Face reality. You have no future if you follow the suicidal path of the right-wingers.

Another Iraq war casualty: U.S. homeland disaster relief resources

Deadly tornadoes have devastated the town of Greensburg, Kansas. At least 10 are dead and damage is extreme. Just when disaster relief is desperately needed, it turns out the needed disaster relief resources are half way around the world in Bush's unpopular war in Iraq.

Kansas tornado disaster highlights lack of National Guard readiness due to Iraq
Kansas' Democratic Governor Kathleen Sebelius said Monday that the effort to recover from the damage caused by tornadoes that hit six Kansas counties over the weekend is being hampered by the war in Iraq.

According to Sebelius there is a shortage of trucks, helicopters and other equipment necessary for the disaster clean up effort due to the Iraq war.

"There is no doubt at all that this will slow down and hamper the recovery," she told Reuters.

In a television interview with CNN on Sunday, Sebelius outlined the problem in more detail.

"Well, states all over the country are not only missing personnel, National Guard troops are — about 40 percent of the troops on the ground in Iraq and Afghanistan — but we’re missing the equipment. When the troops get deployed, the equipment goes with them," she told CNN.

"So, here in Kansas, about 50 percent of our trucks are gone. We need trucks. We’re missing Humvees, we’re missing all kinds of equipment that can help us respond to this kind of emergency."

She said that because the National Guard doesn't have the equipment it needs, the disaster relief efforts are proceeding at a much slower pace than they otherwise could.

Hey, Kansas, you're a red stater that voted for Bush and the Republicans. Whether they're screwing you with high gas prices which devastates rural areas like you the most or sending almost all homeland resources to an unpopular war in Iraq, here's a lesson for you.

You made these monsters. Learn to live (or die) with your decisions.

Humor with right-wingers: Guns and Sex

Dealing with the hatred, insanity, and hypocrisy of right-wing extremists can be very depressing, so we all need a little humor to lighten up. Here are two materials that always appease the right-wingers: guns and sex.

Meet the poster child of the right-winger. Suicide is rampant among their group, and guns are the leading cause of suicide. We need a mascot to represent the right-wingers. Meet Larry the depressed, suicidal maniac.

And how could we avoid the sensitive topic of sex and adultery the right-wingers condemn, yet secretly and ironically engage? Check this video out on Crooks and Liars on a parody escort commercial serving the Washington D.C. area, geared toward the D.C. politicians needing desperate sexual relief from their ugly wives, troubled families, and their lies on sexual morality they preach.

Gas prices nationwide have just set a new record: $3.07 a gallon. While this is a serious issue for almost all Americans, don't expect Bush or the Republicans to do anything about it, considering they are the largest campaign benefactors of big oil company money.

Average pump price hits record $3.07 a gallon
CAMARILLO, Calif. - Gasoline prices have surged to a record nationwide average of $3.07 per gallon, nearly 20 cents higher than two weeks earlier, oil industry analyst Trilby Lundberg said Sunday.

The previous record was $3.03 per gallon on Aug. 11, 2006.

Besides, the right-wingers have more pressing issues on hand than dealing with the high gas prices, such as:

Mormon guide in overcoming mastrubation

With the never-ending sex scandals from the right-wingers hypocritically preaching sexual purity that has and will occur, here is one more reason why they do the wackiest things with sex. The religious right has been the strongest supporters of Republicans strongly preaching sexual morals, yet they get caught too often with their pants down in the sex scandals they condemn.

The Mormons have been among the farthest right and the strongest opponents of sexual sensuality. Not surprisingly, they are often caught with the most demented sexual crimes. Here is the official Mormon guide to overcoming mastrubation that was found on Mormon websites several years ago. I guess they took it down when they couldn't find a single Mormon who actually followed it, but managed to capture and print this guide. Here is is again for permanent reference.

It starts to make more sense why the right-wing do the craziest things with sex.

Mark E. Petersen
Council of the 12 Apostles

Be assured that you can be cured of your difficulty. Many have been, both male and female, and you can be also if you determine that it must be so.

This determination is the first step. That is where we begin. You must decide that you will end this practice, and when you make that decision, the problem will be greatly reduced at once.

But it must be more than a hope or a wish, more than knowing that it is good for you. It must be actually a DECISION. If you truly make up your mind that you will be cured, then you will have the strength to resist any tendencies which you may have and any temptations which may come to you.

After you have made this decision, then observe the following specific guidelines:

A Guide to Self-Control:
1. Never touch the intimate parts of your body except during normal toilet processes.

2. Avoid being alone as much as possible. Find good company and stay in this good company.

3. If you are associated with other persons having this same problem, YOU MUST BREAK OFF THEIR FRIENDSHIP. Never associate with other people having the same weakness. Don't suppose that two of you will quit together, you never will. You must get away from people of that kind. Just to be in their presence will keep your problem foremost in your mind. The problem must be taken OUT OF YOUR MIND for that is where it really exists. Your mind must be on other and more wholesome things.

4. When you bathe, do not admire yourself in a mirror. Never stay in the bath more than five or six minutes -- just long enough to bathe and dry and dress AND THEN GET OUT OF THE BATHROOM into a room where you will have some member of your family present.

5. When in bed, if that is where you have your problem for the most part, dress yourself for the night so securely that you cannot easily touch your vital parts, and so that it would be difficult and time consuming for you to remove those clothes. By the time you started to remove protective clothing you would have sufficiently controlled your thinking that the temptation would leave you.

6. If the temptation seems overpowering while you are in bed, GET OUT OF BED AND GO INTO THE KITCHEN AND FIX YOURSELF A SNACK, even if it is in the middle of the night, and even if you are not hungry, and despite your fears of gaining weight. The purpose behind this suggestion is that you GET YOUR MIND ON SOMETHING ELSE. You are the subject of your thoughts, so to speak.

7. Never read pornographic material. Never read about your problem. Keep it out of mind. Remember -- "First a thought, then an act."

The thought pattern must be changed. You must not allow this problem to remain in your mind. When you accomplish that, you soon will be free of the act.

8. Put wholesome thoughts into your mind at all times. Read good books -- Church books -- Scriptures -- Sermons of the Brethern [sic, Cistern too?]. Make a daily habit of reading at least one chapter of Scripture, preferably from one of the four Gospels in the New Testament, or the Book of Mormon. The four Gospels -- Matthew, Mark, Luke and John -- above anything else in the Bible can be helpful because of their uplifting qualities.

9. Pray. But when you pray, don't pray about this problem, for that will tend to keep [it] in your mind more than ever. Pray for faith, pray for understanding of the Scriptures, pray for the Missionaries, the General Authorities, your friends, your families, BUT KEEP THE PROBLEM OUT OF YOUR MIND BY NOT MENTIONING IT EVER -- NOT IN CONVERSATION WITH OTHERS, NOT IN YOUR PRAYERS. KEEP IT _OUT_ of your mind! The attitude of a person toward his problem has an affect on how easy it is to overcome. It is essential that a firm commitment be made to control the habit. As a person understands his reasons for the behavior, and is sensitive to the conditions or situations that may trigger a desire for the act, he develops the power to control it.

As one meets with his Priesthood Leader, a program for overcoming masturbation can be implemented using some of these suggestions. Remember it is essential that a regular report program be agreed on, so progress can be recognized and failures understood and eliminated.

1. Pray daily, ask for the gifts of the Spirit, that which will strengthen you against temptation. Pray fervently and out loud when the temptations are the strongest.

2. Follow a program of vigorous daily exercise. The exercises reduce emotional tension and depression and are absolutely basic to the solution of this problem. Double your physical activity when you feel stress increasing.

3. When the temptation to masturbate is strong, yell STOP to those thoughts as loudly as you can in your mind and then recite a prechosen Scripture or sing an inspirational hymn. It is important to turn your thoughts away from the selfish need to indulge.

4. Set goals of abstinence, begin with a day, then a week, month, year and finally commit to never doing it again. Until you commit yourself to never again you will always be open to temptation.

5. Change in behavior and attitude is most easily achieved through a changed self-image. Spend time every day imagining yourself strong and in control, easily overcoming tempting situations.

6. Begin to work daily on a self-improvement program. Relate this plan to improving your Church service, to improving your relationships with your family, God and others. Strive to enhance your strengths and talents.

7. Be outgoing and friendly. Force yourself to be with others and learn to enjoy working and talking to them. Use principles of developing friendships found in books such as How to Win Friends and Influence People by Dale Carnegie.

8. Be aware of situations that depress you or that cause you to feel lonely, bored, frustrated or discouraged. These emotional states can trigger the desire to masturbate as a way of escape. Plan in advance to counter these low periods through various activities, such as reading a book, visiting a friend, doing something athletic, etc.

9. Make a pocket calendar for a month on a small card. Carry it with you, but show it to no one. If you have a lapse of self control, color the day black. Your goal will be to have no black days. The calendar becomes a strong visual reminder of self control and should be looked at when you are tempted to add another black day. Keep your calendar up until you have at least three clear months.

10. A careful study will indicate you have had the problem at certain times and under certain conditions. Try and recall, in detail, what your particular times and conditions were. Now that you understand how it happens, plan to break the pattern through counter activities.

11. In the field of psychotherapy there is a very effective technique called aversion therapy. When we associate or think of something very distasteful with something which has been pleasurable, but undesirable, the distasteful thought and feeling will begin to cancel out that which was pleasurable. If you associate something very distasteful with your loss of self-control it will help you to stop the act. For example, if you are tempted to masturbate, think of having to bathe in a tub of worms, and eat several of them as you do the act.

12. During your toileting and shower activities leave the bathroom door or shower curtain partly open, to discourage being alone in total privacy. Take cool brief showers.

13. Arise immediately in the mornings. Do not lie in bed awake, no matter what time of day it is. Get up and do something. Start each day with an enthusiastic activity.

14. Keep your bladder empty. Refrain from drinking large amounts of fluids before retiring.

15. Reduce the amount of spices and condiments in your food. Eat as lightly as possible at night.

16. Wear pajamas that are difficult to open, yet loose and not binding.

17. Avoid people, situations, pictures or reading materials that might create sexual excitement.

18. It is sometimes helpful to have a physical object to use in overcoming this problem. A Book of Mormon, firmly held in hand, even in bed at night has proven helpful in extreme cases.

19. In very severe cases it may be necessary to tie a hand to the bed frame with a tie in order that the habit of masturbating in a semi-sleep condition can be broken. This can also be accomplished by wearing several layers of clothing which would be difficult to remove while half asleep.

20. Set up a reward system for your successes. It does not have to be a big reward. A quarter in a receptacle each time you overcome or reach a goal. Spend it on something which delights you and will be a continuing reminder of your progress.

21. Do not let yourself return to any past habit or attitude patterns which were part of your problem. Satan Never Gives Up. Be calmly and confidently on guard. Keep a positive mental attitude. You can win this fight! The joy and strength you will feel when you do will give your whole life a radiant and spiritual glow of satisfaction and fulfillment.

Republican sex scandals

When will the lying, self-righteous, hypocritical Republicans reveal the sex scandals rampant among their own ranks. As this Media Matters article points out, they fail too often to mention their own sex scandals.

  • September 29, 2006 - Rep. Mark Foley (R-FL) resigned after ABC News asked him about sexually explicit instant messages to underage former congressional pages.
  • 1999 - former House Speaker Newt Gingrich's (R-GA) "long-term" affair with congressional aide Callista Bisek -- whom he later married -- was revealed while he was seeking a divorce from his second wife. In March 2007, Gingrich confessed to the affair.
  • December 1998 - former House Speaker-designate Bob Livingston (R-LA) contributing to the Clinton-Lewinsky impeachment process admitted to having an extramarital affair. Two days later, Livingston announced he would not seek the speakership and that he would resign from the House in mid-1999. He resigned in March 1999.
  • November 22, 1992 - The Washington Post reported that Sen. Robert Packwood (R-OR) had made numerous "uninvited sexual advances to women who have worked for him or with him." Investigations revealed more incidents of sexual harassment and also exposed Packwood's secret personal diaries. Packwood eventually resigned from the Senate on October 1, 1995, after the Senate Ethics Committee voted unanimously to expel him.
  • September 1998 - reported that then-House Judiciary Committee Chairman Henry Hyde (R-IL) had engaged in an extramarital affair with Cherie Snodgrass from 1965 to 1969. According to Hyde, the affair ended when Snodgrass' husband, Fred, told Hyde's wife about it. Hyde purported to explain the affair -- which came out amid the Lewinsky controversy -- as a "youthful indiscretion," even though he was reportedly 41 when the affair started. Hyde, as Judiciary Committee chairman, led the successful push to impeach Clinton.

While the right-wingers preach sexual morality, it's amazing how many of them secretly engage in adultery, pornography, and sex. Not very surprising considering that many of them are depressed, bitter, and eccentric; often married to a mediocre woman whom they lost attraction many years ago and need desperate relief from the lies on sexual morals they spew out.

This is the Republicans' dream picture, especially since many of their wives have little resemblance. Whether they are secretly browsing pornography, sexually fantasizing with other women, or actually engaging in sex with others, they do it quite more often then they honestly admit.

More heinous child molesters

Why do I get this eerie feeling that when I look at child sex molesters shown below, I am also examining the profile of Steve Sailer and his audience. Once again, bitter, depressed, duplicitous, eccentric, middle aged males.

Alleged American child rapist arrested in Hong Kong

A man accused of raping his daughter and posting the video online was arrested in Hong Kong, authorities said Wednesday.

Kenneth John Freeman, a former sheriff's reserve deputy in Benton County, Washington, was arrested Tuesday. He was believed to be living in the city of Suzhou, U.S. Marshals said in a statement.

Freeman, 44, had been the subject of a worldwide manhunt and was on the U.S. Marshal's list of most wanted criminals.

Freeman's daughter, now a teenager, told her story on "America's Most Wanted" in December. After the broadcast, the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children, which had long known of a series of child pornography videos featuring an unidentified girl, linked the girl on the program to the videos, marshals said.

The video Freeman posted online became "one of the most widely downloaded child pornography videos in recent years," federal marshals said.

The alleged rape is believed to have taken place a few years ago, when the girl was between 10 and 12, according to Michael Kline, U.S. Marshal for the Eastern District of Washington.

Middle School Teacher Accused Of Sexual Contact With Student

ROCKVILLE, Md. -- A Rockville middle school teacher was arrested Wednesday night on charges that he had inappropriate sexual contact with a former student.

Joseph Robert Ballmann, 47, is an English teacher at Robert Frost Middle School in Rockville. Police said they suspect Ballmann of having inappropriate contact with a boy who is now 15 years old from spring 2004 through May 2005.

The alleged contact began when Ballmann was the victim's teacher in the seventh grade and continued when the boy was in the eighth grade, police said. The incidents took place at Ballmann's Rockville residence.

NRA wants to help arm suspected terrorists

The National Rifle Association is at it again. This time they want suspected terrorists the right to own firearms to do more terror and damage to America.

NRA criticizes bill banning gun sales to terror suspects
WASHINGTON -- The National Rifle Association is urging the Bush administration to withdraw its support of a bill that would prohibit suspected terrorists from buying firearms.

Backed by the Justice Department, the measure would give the attorney general the discretion to block gun sales, licenses or permits to terror suspects.

In a letter this week to Atty. Gen. Alberto Gonzales, NRA Executive Director Chris Cox said the bill, offered last week by Sen. Frank Lautenberg (D-N.J.), "would allow arbitrary denial of Second Amendment rights based on mere 'suspicions' of a terrorist threat."

Gas prices reaching record highs again

Once again, gas prices are reaching record highs. While Republicans are not entirely responsible for the high gas prices, I would be cautious trusting them to handle this relevant issue. Keep this in mind on Republicans and gas prices.

  • Republicans are the primary recipients of large oil and energy companies.
  • Bush and Cheney are even bigger beneficiaries of large oil and energy companies.
  • Republicans are so choked by big oil company money, they are willing to go so far as screwing their rural red state voters who voted for them.
  • Republicans have fought vigorously for decades to suppress energy efficient and environmentally friendly technology.

You're the one paying for this with your wallet, but who is profiting?

Lesson for Don Imus: How to get paid $10 million annually just to shut up

Don Imus was the fired CBS broadcaster who was getting paid about $10 million annually to broadcast to a nationwide audience. To botch his opportunity, he make a racist attack againt the Rutgers women's basketball team. It's incredible how some people, unnotably the far right-wing racists, can blow a multi-million dollar opportunity.

He is trying to sue CBS for the remaining $40 million on his contract, but Don has to learn this lesson. When you are getting paid a multi-million dollar salary from a major corporation that is broadcast nationwide, there are naturally larger responsibilities for larger paychecks and publicity. All he had to do was shut up and stop slandering his audience and make his obscene millions, but he can't even do that.

How hard is it to find someone who will take a job paying this salary and not offend his audience or make an embarassment of his company? Plenty in America, but very few among the right-wing racist crowd.

No wonder suicide and depresion is so rampant among the Sailer type crowd.
