Pedophile Prosecutor John Atchison attempts suicide

It's scary enough knowing there are so many crazed, eccentric, demented, right-wing Sailer-type white males out there stalking children for sex and harming them. However, with white males, it takes another disturbing turn as they are more likely to hold positions of power and trust over children (teachers, school crossing guards, Homeland Security, pastors), yet so often abuse it to fulfill their carnal desire to harm and molest children.

A federal Prosecutor, Assistant U.S. Attorney John D.R. Atchison, 53, of Florida recently attempted to commit suicide after being caught in a sting operation for sex with what he thought was a 5 year old girl. The suicide part isn't so troubling, as it would be a benefit if losers like him and right-wing scum like Sailer would do society a favor by ending their destructive lives. However, the part that is so troubling is that he was a man of power and trust over children and society.

Prosecutor's Sex Sting Arrest Worries Hometown

GULF BREEZE, Fla. -- Assistant U.S. Attorney John D.R. Atchison led a seemingly idyllic life in this upscale beach community. The married father of three was a respected figure who coached girls' softball and basketball in a park just a few blocks from his home.

But all that came crumbling down when he was arrested last weekend in Detroit in an Internet sex sting for allegedly trying to molest what he thought was a 5-year-old girl. Officials say he later tried to hang himself while jailed.

Atchison, 53, had been communicating with an undercover sheriff's detective Macomb County, Mich., who was posing online as the fictitious girl's mother and arranged for him to have sex with the child, police said. He was arrested carrying presents for her, including a doll and earrings, and sexual materials, officials said.
