Political terrorism

The bombings in the Boston Marathon weren't the only acts of terrorism taking place.  It's been a pretty rough set of events of terrorism all across America, and when right-wingers try to spread their taunts and hatred, they soon learn they will get what they asked for.  Right-wingers aren't the only ones who can engage in terrorism; the right-wingers can just as well be targets of terrorism with the enemies they foment.

While none of these actions have resulted in any deaths for now, at the rate the right-wingers keep up their taunts and hatred, it will only be a matter of time when, not if but when, the next deaths will happen.  Are you sure you want to be associated with these right-wingers?

April 17, 2013 - Ricin letters, a poisonous substance, were mailed to President Obama and Mississippi Republican Senator Roger Wicker.  Both letters were intercepted before reaching their intended victims.

April 12, 2013 - A suspicious package was mailed to Sheriff Joe Arpaio (pictured above) of Arizona.  Joe Arpaio is a controversial, far right-wing hatemonger with many enemies.  Police intercepted it and discovered it contained explosives that could be lethal.  It was detonated safely.

August 15, 2012 - Floyd Corkins entered the lobby of the right-wing Christian hate group, the Family Research Council in Washington D.C.  He was armed with a pistol and 100 rounds of ammunition and intended to murder.  The security guard stopped him, although he got shot in the arm.

Faith-Healing Parents Herbert and Catherine Schaible Arrested for Death of Second Child

Don't you just want to laugh at the hypocrisy and stupidity of the right-wing white nationalists like Steve Sailer.  According to their beliefs, white families like them are supposed to provide social and moral guidance for minorities on how to raise families.  With white families devastating their kind like this story, the white population continues to decline.

The Schaible family loses not one, but two, children to felony child negligence and abuse.  Not only are they ugly and dysfunctional like the Sailers, but they are bad to the bone.  Who wants to replicate their family values?

Faith-Healing Parents Arrested for Death of Second Child

A religious couple already on probation for choosing prayer over medicine in the death of their toddler son may be facing similar charges in the death of their newest child.

According to an article on ABC News, “Herbert and Catherine Schaible belong to a fundamentalist Christian church that believes in faith healing. They lost their 8-month-old son, Brandon, last week after he suffered from diarrhea and breathing problems for at least a week, and stopped eating. Four years ago, another son died from bacterial pneumonia.”

That boy, a two-year-old named Kent, died after the Schaibles refused to take him to the doctor when he became sick, relying instead on faith and prayer. The couple were convicted of involuntary manslaughter and sentenced to 10 years on probation.

In the latest tragedy, they told police that they prayed for God to heal Brandon instead of taking him to a doctor when he fell ill. Officials said that an autopsy will be performed on the child, and depending on those results the parents may be charged with a crime.

The couple attend, and have taught at, Philadelphia’s First Century Gospel Church, which cites Biblical scripture favoring prayer and faith over modern medicine. Other religions, including Followers of Christ Church, Christian Scientists, and Scientology, have doctrines that prohibit or discourage modern medicine and therapeutic interventions.

2012 U.S. Census: White population nationwide declines to 63 percent

Fast growth of Latino population blurs traditional U.S. racial lines

Results from the 2012 U.S. Census show the inevitable trend that the minority races are increasing white the white population continues to decrease.  The U.S. Census Bureau reports that the White population in America declined to 63 percent nationwide, down from 64 percent in 2010.  Among other findings and projections.

Non-Hispanic whites will lose their majority around the year 2043.

More U.S. babies are now born to minorities than whites, a milestone reached last year.

More than 45 percent of students in kindergarten through 12th grade are minorities. The Census Bureau projects that in five years the number of nonwhite children will surpass 50 percent.

The District of Columbia, Hawaii, California, New Mexico and Texas have minority populations greater than 50 percent. By 2020, eight more states are projected to join the list: Arizona, Florida, Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, Nevada, New Jersey and New York. Latinos already outnumber whites in New Mexico; California will tip to a Latino plurality next year.
